At Stories Unfold Counseling Services, we believe therapy is a transformative journey, offering individuals a compassionate space to explore, heal, and grow.
We understand that life can present a wide range of challenges, and we are here to support you in navigating them with care and understanding.
Whether you are facing grief and loss, depression, anxiety, life transitions, relational challenges, trauma, or self-esteem concerns, therapy can be a powerful tool for uncovering your inner resilience, fostering personal growth, and connecting to yourself and others.
We provide individual services to adults and adolescents aged 14 and older, tailoring our approach to meet your unique needs and experiences. No matter where you are in your journey, we are committed to walking alongside you with empathy and expertise.
Clients who work with us are often seeking a deeper connection to themselves — a way to feel more whole, more grounded, and more free. Right now, these thoughts and experiences may sound all too familiar:
“I feel disconnected from my partners/friends/family.”
“I don’t know who I am.”
“Life has changed since something traumatic happened, and it is hard to make sense of why or how to move forward.”
“Anxiety makes all my decisions and makes me feel unlovable, broken, etc.”
“I don’t know how to really believe in my own self worth.”
“I can’t seem to express or even identify how I’m feeling, let alone control my reactions.”
“My relationship is in conflict, and I don’t know where we go from here.”
Together, we can explore these unhelpful, harmful narratives you’ve internalized from shame, trauma, repression, and oppressive systems.
Therapy becomes a space to unravel those old stories and begin to write new, self-affirming ones rooted in truth, empowerment, and self-compassion.

We help individuals, couples, and ethically non-monogamous (ENM) partnerships expand their connection to their sexuality, deepen their connection to pleasure and eroticism, and gain confidence in communicating their desires and needs:
